Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC)

This position is located in the IT Security Division, IT Risk Management Directorate, Office of the Chief Information Officer. The position description number is 203300. The salary range reflects the locality pay adjustments for the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan area. The incumbent will work a flextime or compflex work schedule. This is a non-supervisory, bargaining unit position. Relocation expenses will not be authorized for the person(s) selected under this vacancy announcement.

**Qualifications:**
Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision. Ability to provide security incident response, investigation, handling and management activities.** Knowledge of computer network defense and cyber threat hunting.** Ability to perform IT research and analysis. Ability to apply project management methodologies and techniques to manage complex IT projects. Ability to interact collaboratively with others. Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.
