Job Description
This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position. This is an Indefinite GS-0201-09 HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2009000 and is part of the MO Directorate of Manpower and Personnel, Automated Systems. This is a bargaining unit position. SEE NOTES UNDER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT BELOW.
**Qualifications:**
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Army National Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion). Maximum Military Grade - CW3 (W-3) GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience, education or training which involves the exercise of analytical ability, judgment, discretion, and personal responsibility, and application of a substantial body of knowledge of principles, concepts and practices applicable to one or more fields of administration or management; and experience using computer and automation systems. GS-09 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess 24 months of specialized experience that demonstrates knowledge of a wide range of military human resources management concepts, military regulations, policies and procedures sufficient to provide comprehensive guidance in administrative personnel matters; knowledge of personnel authorizations, unit manning documents, duty assignment requirements and criteria sufficient to submit recommended improvements or corrections for the purpose of enhancing personnel readiness; knowledge of organizational missions and capabilities sufficient to perform presentations and briefings; and ability to communicate through oral and written means sufficient to present ideas and information utilizing presentations, briefings, and correspondence.
