Job Description
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Tinker Golf Course. Physical Effort: Work requires bending, reaching, stooping, crouching and arm movement. Frequent lifting and carrying of items of various weights. Working Conditions: Inside and outside shop work with dirty, dusty and greasy conditions. Subject to fumes, cuts, bruises and abrasions from handling engines, components and equipment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Applicant must have experience in performing tune-ups and engine overhauls on a variety of equipment from golf carts to dump trucks. Must have experience in replacing and adjusting drive and control parts of machinery, setting up and operating bed knife, reel grinders and presses. Must have experience in making adjustments for correct level and sharpness, control linkages, drive clutches and bearings on equipment and in wiring electrical systems with replacement harnesses. Must have experience in inventory methods and controls. Must have welding experience. Must have a current, valid driver's license.
