Job Description

You will serve as a Supervisory Program Manager as the Director of Planning and Operations in the Systems Acquisition Group, Program Management Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or (NM-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience includes: 1) Utilizing a wide range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices used to manage weapon systems acquisition; 2) Reviewing, analyzing, and implementing higher level procurement policies; 3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; 4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; 5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a command; 6) Coordinating and assigning work for technical or non-technical personnel based on assigned program initiatives and agency needs; 7) Supervising and performing official supervisory responsibilities for assigned subordinates; and 8) Functioning as a liaison with internal and external contacts to ensure assigned program needs are addressed and program goals are met.
