Job Description
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/RESEARCH PSYCHOLOGIST in the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division/ Advanced Simulation Division of NAWCTSD ORLANDO. ****This position has a control point of GS-14 Step 10. If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is $125,776 - $163,514.****
**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13-14) grade level or pay band( NM-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1.) Providing technical leadership and oversight for complex engineering programs; 2.) Directing the research and development (R&D) of advanced modeling and simulation technologies while ensuring the successful transition of new technologies to the fleet.; 3). Leading a multi-disciplinary technical team by providing mentorship and fostering the professional growth of engineers and scientists ; 4.) Establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships within the government, academic, and private sector stakeholders to define requirements and achieve program objectives; 5.) Ensuring organizational accountability by managing budgets, implementing engineering quality control processes, and maintaining compliance with security and cyber security policies.
