Division Chief - Division of Adult Services and Governance (DASG)

This position is located in the Office of Workforce Investment within the National Office of the United States Department of Labor (DOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA). The National Office comprises a headquarters activity established to manage and direct all workforce development activity throughout ETA. The official title of this position is Supervisory Program Manager. This position is outside of the bargaining unit.

**Qualifications:**
For GS-15: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-14, in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Applicants must meet the following examples of qualifying specialized experience as described below: Experience partnering with federal and state agencies, and other stakeholders on workforce investment programs; and Ability to apply knowledge of federal legislation/regulations to state and local requirements to assist in the implementation of workforce investment programs, specifically those authorized by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act; AND one of the following: Experience providing administration, oversight and technical assistance in public workforce investment program; or Experience in developing, monitoring and evaluating policies for public workforce investment programs and grants.
