Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Food Service Worker ~ without more than normal supervision. I have the ability to perform the common duties of a Food Service Worker. I can interpret basic instructions to assemble patient food trays and tube feedings. I can precisely measure, weigh, and blend correct amounts of ingredients required from recipes. Frequently moves trays of completed salads, desserts, and/or moving trays of bulk nourishment. Performs work involving light to moderate physical effort. Lifts objects up to 30 pounds. Regularly pushes food carts weighing 45 pounds. Required to work on patient wards to deliver and retrieve menus and patient meal trays. Working Conditions: Work is performed predominantly in a noisy kitchen, and sometimes in dining area. The work involves continuous walking and standing on tile floors. The incumbent is exposed to minor cuts, bruises, burns and scalds. Incumbent works on rotating day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts.
