PURCHASING AGENT

This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number: ST-12904425-26-CLS. Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcement. You will serve as a PURSHASING AGENT in the Integrated Logistics Division of BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL.

**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintaining catalogs, contract files, and lists of firms offering specific equipment supplies, and services; 2) Performing procurement functions in accordance with laws and regulations established in the Federal Acquisition Regulations; 3) Purchasing a variety of commercial supplies and equipment using competitive market and sole source procedures; 4) Advising requestors on purchases, policies, methods of procurement, and potential conflict issues with competition; and 5) Performing post award purchase responsibilities including modifications and amendments to implement contractual changes.
