Management and Program Analyst

This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Debt Agency Compliance and Analysis Division. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will perform program analysis duties in the Portfolio Management and Analysis Branch (PMAB) and develop, maintain, and improve direct centralized debt collection operations through partnerships and outreach.

**Qualifications:**
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your résumé. Specialized experience for the GS-13 is one year (52 weeks) of experience at the GS-12 level or equivalent, that is directly related to the position as listed in this announcement and which has equipped the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as: - Applying analytical and evaluative techniques in a work environment to support debt collection efforts. (i.e. analyze new information technologies or current methods in support of reengineering business processes); AND - Experience consulting with, making recommendations to, and implementing solutions for management level staff; AND - Leading studies relevant to organizational goals focused on debt collection and policy and laws; In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
