Recreation Assistant

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Outdoor Recreation Center, Ramstein AB, Germany. This position does not offer logistical support. Performs and/or assists in maintenance and sales operations of recreational facilities.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in the retail/service environment, cash handling and operating a computerized cash terminal. Must have satisfactory written and verbal communications skills. Must have practical knowledge and/or experience with outdoor adventure programs and equipment. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Conditions of Employment: Incumbent must satisfactorily complete a Tier Level 1 background investigation. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
