MWR Supervisory Recreation Specialist (Liberty)

This position is assigned to the Single Sailor Recreation Division; Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department; Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC). The primary purpose of this position is to manage and administer a comprehensive and diverse year-round Single Sailor Program which includes the day-to-day operations, development, organization, facilitation, marketing and evaluation of recurring andnonrecurring programs within the Single Sailor Program.

**Qualifications:**
Knowledge of the principles, techniques and methods or procedures used in organizing, planning, administering and conducting a wide variety of recreation activities. Knowledge of the scope of recreational activities and their suitability for individuals, groups, ages and interests Knowledge of current trends in recreation. Knowledge of marketing and promotion techniques that motivate and encourage program participation. Knowledge of CNIC's EEO policy and procedures. Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). Ability to develop and effectively deliver presentations and/or training. Ability to influence others in obtaining cooperation and assistance. Ability to perform the full range of supervisory duties. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
