Air Traffic Control Specialist, (MSS-1, Level 5) AT-2152-EI (Staff Support Specialist)

Serves as Staff Support Specialist (MSS-1) in a Terminal facility. Responsible for tactical, strategic, and administrative support of multiple program areas such as training, quality control, quality assurance, traffic management, airspace and procedures, plans and programs, operational automation, military operations. special and security operations, safety management system, safety reporting and other areas of specialty identified collaboratively at the local level.

**Qualifications:**
Candidates must show specialized experience. Specialized experience is defined as: 1. Must have held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters position for at least 1 year (52 weeks); OR 2. Must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) at an ATO facility {NOTE: An employee who has been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) at an ATO facility who is upgraded is considered to have met the qualification requirements of the higher-level position, since he/she has been performing the higher-graded work}; OR 3. Must have held a MSS/TMC position for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATO facility {reference NOTE above}. For this position, applicants must currently hold or have held the position of CPC/TMC/TMS, MSS-1 or higher (or) FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or higher in a Headquarters or Region (Service Center) position. Evaluation Criteria: Candidates will be rated in accordance with the instructions contained in FAA Form 3330-43-1, (06/00 or 10/11) Rating of Air Traffic Experience for AT Movement.
