Budget Analyst

This position is located in the Human Resources Division-Arlington, VA. The selectee of this position serves as a Budget Analyst. You will be responsible for advising and consulting with appropriate budget formulation, budget execution, and management team leaders, division managers, and key program managers.

**Qualifications:**
GS-13 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted). You may qualify at the GS-0560-13 level, if you fulfill one of the following qualifications: 1). Formulating, coordinating, and monitoring the budget and spending plans of an organizations' financial program; 2). Evaluating organizational operations to perform cost benefit analysis; 3). Conducting reviews of an organizations programs to identify ways to improve business practices, re-engineer activities, and reduce costs; and 4). Conducting studies of operational functions to advise senior management on organizational structure improvements. IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC.
