About the Position: Incumbent will serve as the Chief, Human Capital Division for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) enterprise, providing strategic management of human capital and senior expert advisory and consultative services to DHA's senior management officials. This position is located in Falls Church, VA. A relocation incentive may be authorized. Student Loan Repayment may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing human resources (HR) analytics to develop performance metrics and assess the effectiveness of human capital programs; briefing senior executives (i.e., Senior Executive Service, Flag/General Officer) on complex human capital matters; AND developing strategic human capital policies and initiatives to align with organizational goals. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
