The United States Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia mission is to enforce the criminal laws of the United States and the District of Columbia, represent the interests of the United States in civil litigation, and respond to the public safety needs of the community by leading an effective, well-coordinated law enforcement effort that contributes to the overall goal of improving the quality of life in the District of Columbia.
**Qualifications:**
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required experience or education for the respective grade level in which you are applying: To qualify at the GS-05 level, you must possess: Experience: Information technology-related experience demonstrating each of the four required competencies (the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate: 1) Attention to Detail - Follow technical documentation methods and procedures. 2) Customer Service - Works with clients and customers to troubleshoot IT related issues. 3) Oral Communication - Expresses technical information to nontechnical individuals or groups effectively. AND 4) Problem Solving - Assisting to identify IT related problems. (This experience must be displayed on your resume/supporting documents.) OR Successful completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following types of education: computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management, or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems, or networks.
